Hi All,
I am looking for a decent unrestricted data APN for my IOT project based in SA.
So I have tried Vodacom, but they are dropping some quite important TCP/IP and HTTP packets.

I have tried whereverSIM (Based in Germany which roams through Vodacom locally) and that seems reliable but Im not quite ready to go out and use 100 sim cards.

My requirement is about 1Mb per day max per SIM/device.

Here are some offerings:

emnify
soracom
whereversim
things mobile
thingstream
OneSimCard M2M
wireless logic
topconnect
SpeedTalk IoT M2M
lologram
open m2m
dolphin m2m
mokanix
easy m2m

Can anyone recommend ?

I am getting some M2M Sims from a company in Europe as well. We've ordered 5 for testing purposes.

Can send you the contacts details if you PM me your email address.

And yes, it's because of Vodacom that we are doing this. They are total schits

OK so I just visited by friendly local/Pakistani cellphone shop and bought a 8Ta SIM.. Ur, hurm,, er.

Sucess! My IOT project is connecting and working!
So for Blynk-cloud IOT 3G connections in SA.:

Vodacom = no
Telkom/8ta= Yes

Ps Im using a low-cost smartphone instead of a SIM800/SIM900 etc, much cheaper.
If you are interested to know more PM me.
