M33 firmware for PSP?

I just bought my psp from hopeanjul store. All i can say is its beautiful, wow. Anyway, it is chipped with the M33 firmware. Now im curious, what is the difference between a chipped psp and a non-chipped psp, besides playing copied games? my psp doesnt look different at all. Are there functionablities that im not aware of with the M33 Firmware?

Plugins which add extra functionality to the firmware can be downloaded. eg. plugin that allows you to play mp3 during gameplay. Plugin that allows the use of analog in the XMB.

Also, if you've got the UP chip your PSP is basically unbrickable.

where can u find these plugins?is there one that plays xvid, because that might come in really handy.
