M42-EOS

Let me know how it goes with the K-Mount convertor, as I have come across some lenses :)
Will do. The USPO couldn't find my dad's house so it got returned to the dealer. They've resent it today to his PO Box - our hope is that the USPO is able to find one of their own branches!

Well the adapter finally found it's way to my dad who promptly forwarded it on to me via priority mail, with any luck it should eventually make it here. After all this the damn thing better work!

Did you get the one with an AF confirmation chip?

Not this time around.
My eyes are bad and it comes in handy while focusing. At the moment I only have a Carl Zeiss Jena Sonar 135mm f3.5 which is pretty fun and sharp. Time to look for a fisheye in an M42 mount

That could be a problem I suppose - I'll have to wait and see. Although I intended to use it on one of my 400D's the bigger viewfinder of the 7D might come in handy.

No chance am I ever going to actually try and take a pic with it but I had to see what it looked like :D

Nice! What lens is that? I can see Ashi Opt Corp and Pentax-M 1:1.7 but what is the focal length?

Myself I found a YS-ES M42 Pentax adaptor in my box of tricks tonight and a Proskar Anamorphic-16 X2 M42 mount lens :)
