MAC address control access

Does any1 knows how MAC address control acces works?
Will this work if I have a Gigabyte router that contains a MAC address of a access point & my access point contains all MAC addresses of the PC's NIC MAC address.

does your AP do nat? cause if not the gigabyte may block traffic if the AP only passes data. if it nats then the packet source mac is the AP.
