I stumbled accross a nice way to backup your Mac online. Its not that expencive but its going to blow your cap in a few day if you backup the whole lot.

The guys where chatting about this on one podcast and its very sleek and easy to use

Caught out.... but yes. They also have a great little browser called Shiira. I just installed it and its nice and quick.

I have been using Mozy for a while to backup my documents. Currently I have 744 files backed up using the system. It is completely unobtrusive and works great. I hope the restore works just as well.

It should be - its based on the same WebKit that Safari uses :)

Got an external drive, I use that to backup seeing as I dont have a permanent connection at home any more.

I'll try it when I get ADSL again.

Yeah - I've gone the same route even with having adsl.

I have an external that I make a complete image on every week and my important documents also get a second mid week back up to my iPod. My aperture vault gets updated almost daily.

The external hdds live in the garage and the iPod in my car - that's about as offsite as I'm able to go atm without sacrificing too much convenience.

I need to get an external drive soon as my data is getting more and more. Think the external is going to be the best as I am using my cap for surfing and downloading. But damn the firewire drives arent cheap

Maybe, maybe not - but either way they're worth it. :)
