also, try : network preferences > airport > advanced

then make sure your preferred / home network is on top of the list & remove others you do not regularly use.

It always using the router's DHCP. So everything is just set to automatic and I did just rearranged my network prioritisation since it was connecting to the Mweb FON the whole time. I have no idea what's going on.

the re-odering you did within "preferences" > "airport" , do the same within the main network preferences page.
at the bottom of the list of available connections (airport / ethernet / bluetooth etc), click on the little settings cog & make sure airport is at the top of the list.

one thing - - when you see the "no internet", is it a case of having being connected for some time, and later, after any random interval, you return to the mac to discover it is suddenly no longer connected.

For testing purposes recreate the network by creating a new location. Remove the services you know you won't be using.

I had this using a separate modem/wifi router and self-assigned IPs with DHCP off. It was still connected to the network/internet always.

Nothing works haha, and it's weird because I didn't change any settings. It just happened randomly. I always have network/internet connectivity but it is sort of annoying since I can't see the signal strength.

I'll try removing all networks and network settings and try to basically restore it all to default and then just reconnect to all my networks.

Do you have PPPoE/dial up ADSL accounts added?
