The details are here. There is also an update for firmware for Airports and Time Capsule, a security update and a new version of Safari for Tiger.
The combo update is 581MB, but the incremental update is only 88MB.
Good thing its the beginning of a new month.

I think I'd rather have had it yesterday when I had so much local left over. :o

Is anybody else having problems installing the EFI firmware update 1.2 on the MacBook? Mine starts up, tells me it needs to reboot, then fails to start after reboot (before login). As soon as I login, the installer starts again, tells me it needs to reboot... wash rinse repeat...

I don't see that on their site - is it available via software update? I have not got my Macbook here to check now.

I suspect my problem is related to this. I replaced the wee 80gb drive with a 250gb, and I don't know for sure which scheme I chose - didn't think anything of it at the time.

There are instructions you need to follow to apply the firmware update it's not just a one click install you need to put your mac into firmware update mode.
# Hold down the power button until the power indicator light flashes, then release it. A long tone will be heard, then a gray screen with an Apple logo appears. There is a progress bar under the logo. As the progress bar moves, your firmware is being updated.

Important: Do not unplug, shutdown, or restart your computer while the update is taking place. Interrupting a firmware update can render your computer unusable. If this happens, take your machine to an Apple store or authorized service provider or perform the recovery yourself using another Macintosh computer to download the Firmware Restoration CD disk image from http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/. This software allows you to create a CD which you can use to restore your machine to working order.

Installation takes a few minutes.
# After your firmware has been updated, your machine will restart.
# After you log in, a dialog box will appear indicating the firmware update has been successful. Click OK to dismiss this dialog.

Edit:
To view your partition scheme just launch disk utility, click your hard drive(not partition) and it will show your scheme under details.

I think we might have to thank Telkom sadly... :o
Someone on this forum mentioned that Telkom made a deal with Akamai a while back so we all benefit from sites that use Akamai. :o

I guess I missed the holding down the power button part - I don't recall having to do that before.

I prefer not to mess about with a partition scheme while my main OS and all my data is on the same disc. Anyway, I'm going to be replacing this one with a 500GB soon, so I'll make sure I do it right then.

some firmware updates need to have the power button held down others dont (like k/b etc)

OK, busy installing the combo update on my Macbook - it has been standing on '1 minute left' now for about an hour. Busy 'Running installer script' \Can I kill it. The same update went fine on my iMac.

EDIT: Killed it, ran disk utility - fixed permissions and re-installed w/o a hitch.
