Mac OSX Lion GM released - final Tuesday?

Been messing around with Lion GM for a few days now. Despite the flashy launch pad, mission control, Space Shuttle blah blah, the first thing I found better than Snow Leopard was the simplicity of getting Lion to work with my Windows network. I still have to play around a bit more to learn the rest of the new features.

TRUE - I found the same thing. My windows network works so much better as well. The best think I found with Lion is MAIL.

Hehe. What I love is when I have people wanting stuff from my external drive (movies, software, pics, etc etc) and all my drives are Mac formatted. First thing I ask is "DO YOU HAVE A MAC". They immediately give that disappointed look. Yet, I can copy stuff from them.

Anyway, I know its bait of an issue when you want to have a compatible drive with Windows and lets face it, FAT32 just doesn't cut it. After all the hassles of MacDrive, formatting and reformatting for Windows I had to make a choice - we all know what that was.

I have started using exFat on some of my drives. Works everywhere except media players, and there is no 4GB limit on files.
