Mac will not save my password/login details

I am running Mac OS lion on my macbook pro. Safari or chrome will not save my login details for any site. I click on 'remember me' and just 'forgets' me. I exit the explorer and then i have to log back in.

Please help, this is highly irritating.

Agree, you should enable your cookies it would be useless for how many time you just try to remember your password by a site if you turn of your cookies or you have an automatic delete of cookies. Deleting your cookies will eventually delete all your username and password on all site that you saved.
