Mac won’t connect to Rain

Hi

I’ve been trying for the past two days to connect my MacBook Air to our new Rain router. We have two phones and another laptop that are using it, so it works. But when I try to connect on laptop it says the password is wrong (it isn’t) or it says that I’m too far away, but I have the router right next to me.

Any advice?

Sometimes having the device right next to the router will cause issues, try again a bit further back.

Which rain router? When we got oppo 5g router from rain windows 10 home machines could not connect. Ubuntus and phones could all connect. We changed type of default wifi from the router. All devices were happy and connected.

Change the MacBook Air.

It’s a ZTE. What did you change the router to?

Wifi mode from 802.11ac to another of the available options.

I have a similar issue, but connecting a Windows pc to router. It can connect to all my other routers except one of them. All the other devices can connect to the router. I'm thinking it must be a security setting or something.
