Hello all,

Done a search, but didn't get a hit - apologies if this has been addressed before.

I'm trying to get an idea of possible costs involved in switching over to my 1st Mac.

I have a stock-standard Planet 802.11g wifi router, that we have 2 laptops and a printer workstation connect through.

Silly question(?) time: should a new MBP connect to this without much hassle - or would I need to consider replacing the router?

Has anyone recently made the switch from PC to Mac had any problems?

Many thanks!

If the router works with Windows, it should work perfectly fine with a Mac.

No, you need a special Apple branded wireless router that costs R4000 :p :D
