Hi,

So my local iStore + dotFNB (Canal Walk) don't seem to have stock of the 13" Macbook Air.

Is there a shortage of stock? I've tried to call a few branches but the phone just rings...

Anyone managed to get on in CPT recently?

Thanks,

Order it online. Then they courier it to you from the warehouse in Jhb. If it listed on their website they have stock.

Edit: So I just checked their website and only the 11" MBA is listed. So it does indeed seem that there is a shortage of stock.

As above, best bet is to order it online. My order took under a week for a MBP (ordered processed on Monday, received it on Thursday).

Yep site doesn't have it which is why I looked to the branches. I'm guessing it must be a stock shortage. Either way I pulled the trigger on eBay and bought a sleeve for it and a hard shell cover.

I'll wait a week or two then, at least those will start to arrive by the time FNB has stock and can deliver.

+1 for the sleeve.

-100 for the hardshell. How can you cover up that aluminium beauty!

I agree. Had my MBA for a year and only used a neoprene sleeve, there wasn't the slightest scratch or ding on it when I sold it.
