Macbook Air second-hand reasonable price

Just a quick question, what do you guys think is a reasonable price for a 6 month old Macbook Air? Bough in March 2011, specs are 11-inch, 1.4Ghz Core 2, 2GB RAM and 64GB HDD. In perfect condition!

I tried looking on gumtree etc. but there were some extremely inconsistent adverts so I am not quite sure what a good ballpark figure would be...

Sadly with 2nd hand stuff (especially specialised stuff - trust me I've tried to sell some stuff recently) the prices won't be great. I figure most people who would want an Air would have bought one .. and looking at the face-value specs it is actually a pretty lowly laptop, plus didn't the new Air come out a month or two ago in anycase?

Yeah I guess that's true... But wow, who ever heard of an apple product losing value from 8,999 to 500 in the space of 6 months! :O

If you were in the US Gazelle would give you $345 for it so it's worth at least that - maybe more here in SA thanks to Coreflation.

That's more around what I was thinking... I know someone who sold theirs yesterday for R6,500 which I think is slightly more than I would expect. But wow, R500!! :O
