That's the closest you gonna get to more than 1 year warranty. Apple cost the most but delivers the least.

Test it out. Let something break each year. And then we catch up in 2027.

I'm considering purchasing a 13" MacBook Air from Incredible Connection as the price is good, and it's Discovery Miles day
it comes with the following statement:
  • 3 year warranty (upon registration)
which actually means 1 year for apple and two years with them

Still a good deal? Or should I be avoiding?

The price isn't bad.

I paid R13000 for a 2014 MacBook air in 2015 and it's still doing ok.

I had to replace the SSD a few years agao.
That cost R2000.

The battery isn't as strong as it used to be, but that is understandable.

Thanks all.

They will honor, just make sure you register your warranty, and get confirmation. They are not the quickest though - Took over a month to have my MacBook Pro faulty screen replaced, also the company that handles the Mac repairs is called DualZone. Repair was done properly with Apple approved spare parts, so I'm happy about that.

Also have used IC warranty (non-mac) in the past. Had no issues except it took a couple of weeks.

Need Apple Onsite Warranty in South Africa. R5000/pm sounds reasonable.

If you had on-site warranty for Apple you would have a lot of techs sitting around idle because Apple products hardly ever break.

It would be a waste of money.

Unlikely you will need it.

But if you do I’m sure it’s just an insurance product of sorts and will be handled by Core in the background.
