Hi All,

I'm thinking of buying a Macbook Pro soon (mostly to learn some iOS development).

But one of the benefits I would like is to play Diablo 3 on the go.

Did any of you with Macbook Pros play the Open Beta? If so, how were your Frames per Second?

Thanks for the help.

Wait for the new MacBook Pros - the refresh is due pretty soon.

As for the FPS - don't know, didn't download the beta to try on mine :(

I only tried in Bootcamp, but on my 2010 13" C2D with Geforce 320M I was looking at 30-40 FPS. That was low detail but running at native res of 1280x800.

But I heard the new MBPs will only have an integrated Intel 4000 GFX card. I read that they won't have any build-in discrete cards.

The Intel 4000 is worse than the current GFX cards in the current MBPs 15"+.

Any truth in this?

The Intel 4000 should be a slower than the current discrete graphics in the MBP 15", but it's still quite a decent graphics card. They will probably have discrete cards as the 15" always has.

I recently bought the 13" MBP , the late 2011 model. Unfortunately I didn't get to play the beta but I have ordered the collectors Edition, once it arrives I can feed back, but until them, I myself do not know what to expect performance wise.
