Hi Guys & Girls
Hoping somebody can help.
I thought I would take on a sticky backspace key this morning on my MacBook Pro and clean it up, unfortunately I have done more damage than good and I have broken the clips and I can't re-seat the key.
Can anyone suggest a place that could fix this up for me tomorrow am without requiring a further loan on my house.
I reside in the north of JHB.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Thanks. Have them on the list. Concerned I'm going to be forced to replace the entire keyboard...

That sounds like something only IStore will make you do.

I needed to fix my track pad, R5000 later. Because they replaced the whole front.

IStore is the last place I'll be going because expensive and slow! Hoping for a reasonable quick fix in the am.

Seems the clips weren't broken, Ifix put it back on for R99!

My experience with keyboards: If all else fails use more force! :D

Ya, will save R99 next time and try your approach. Always a little scary on a R25K machine. Thankfully all sorted - the quote I received from digicape was for R10k as they say they have to replace top cover, trackpad etc in order to replace keyboard. Thrilled this wasn't the case!
