Macbook Pro running VMware Fusion 3.1.0 HELP!!!!

Hi Mac gurus!!!

I need some serious help.

I am running Snow Leopard on my Macbook Pro with Windows 7 on my VMware fusion as I need to use windows for all the domain/lan related stuff.

Yesterday, I extended my desktop onto my second screen and it worked beautifully, today I left my machine for a bit and returned to a frozen Win 7. I rebooted and after seen the windows startup screen it goes BLANK and I cannot see the logon screen! I've rebooted the VM and the Mac. I've removed the 2nd screen and rebooted again but still get the same result. I've added more RAM to the VM. stil nothing!!!

I am not running time machine or snapshots as the machine and setup is very new nor do I have any backup software running! :erm:

PLEASE HELP!!!

mmm ... I guess reinstalling Windows on VMWare is not an option.

If it's the data you're looking for then you can always open the VM with VMDKmounter. Otherwise try booting the VM in safe mode or vga mode...

Graphics drivers. Word of advice, rather setup windows through bootcamp and run VMware fusion through the bootcamp partition. That way if VMware fusion becomes corrupt you can simply uninstall and re-install without losing the entire image and data. Boot off a Bart PE or Sysinternals disk and see if the following directories exist.

Nvidia (3 locations):

If they do, rename them all to .old

My just try installing Windows as the main host OS. Windows 7 supports the EFI BIOS found in you apple product.
