Machine Check Exception Error

Hi everyone this is my first post on this forum. I recently purchased a gaming laptop (P55 gigabyte). There seems to be a problem with the i7-5700HQ processors with the motherboards (whether gigabyte, msi, asus, etc). There seems to be a compatibility issue the motherboard and the intel i7-5700HQ processor. As randomly i receive a BSOD with the error Machine Check Exception. I was not the only person to experience such a problem. the following link will provide you more details on the problems we face and the incident is not only isolated with gigabyte as many users with high end notebooks are experiencing the same problem https://communities.intel.com/thread/88778

The only way of fixing it is with a bios update. I am aware that gigabyte released one and also MSI. If you are experiencing the error you need to contact your motherboard manufacturer to release a bios update.

Yes, Gigabyte has released a BIOS update to fix this issue.
