Anyone been to Madagascar in January? I see its their rainy season but the long term weather forecast shows sunshine with spotty afternoon showers here and there.

Is it an OK time to visit ?

I went in April so cannot comment about Jan.
I can only suggest make sure the rooms have aircon!

Its a tropical climate so more than likely sun during the day and then a massive downpour in the late evening.

Went to Nosy-be. Was amazing, been to mauritius and Reunion. But Madagascar was my favorite. Just so different, felt very safe, the nature was amazing, unspoilt diving - lots of coral, fish, turtles etc. Food was great, and the rum was amazing.

Stayed at three different places on three separate islands for 10 nights.
