Cr@p journalism. How can you tell if blood traces are from a dead person or a live person. Sensationalist crud.
Don't know how, but on C&I Network they had a case a week ago where a guy murdered his ex and his stepkids, the American cops later found bloodstains with the help of some Luminol and assumed the victims were dead even though no bodies were found. The guy was charged with murder.
Let's hope this kid was kidnapped for some rich childless family looking for a daughter.
On second thought, it may be possible to estimate the amount of blood loss and it is possible to tell if the blood is human or not, assuming the victim
is a young child, it is then possible to determine whether the amount of blood lost was significant enough to cause death or not. A large stain from
a small child would signifiy death if the child did not receive treatment immediately. I'm no expert in forensics though so I can't say whether a stain size,
can be matched to volume of blood loss reliably enough.
Still, why would the McCann's murder their own daughter? Accidentally? Why not then just report it as such. Bizarre.
