I have a magic Lift Garage door.

I tried to get a replacement remote from local security shop. Nothing they suggested worked.

Any idea what remote I require for this type of garage door?

Thanks

Try finding an agent and asking if a universal remote might work, if it does you can then scan for the correct code's response.

But you may need to have the receiving unit checked in case it has the fault.

Just get a centurion receiver and one of their remotes.

Good idea. I will contact them. I suspect they may push me to take something from them with their own markup.

Was hoping somebody knew what remote to look for, then I could just find something online.

Don't want to spend to buy another receiver....also I wouldn't have a clue how to hook up a different receiver.

I just need 1 replacement remote, it's falling apart...the other 3 are okay.

Aah, so receiver is fine. Maybe a good security / remote shop can use a sensor to see what the working units are transmitting.

Plz let us know how it goes.

So I bought the below remotes from Leroy Merlin. The Door installers said it would work.

Doesn't seem to work though. Now door installers suggest I need to buy a channel hopping receiver. I don't mind doing this, but haven't got any idea how to connect it to this motor.

Going down the rabbit hole here for what should be something easy to resolve.
