Hi guys.

First time at the ‘dam and wanted to bring back home one of these magic mushroom kits.

I’m travelling alone and didn’t want to risk trying it here so thought I’d grow and try and share.

Is this allowed. Procedure at customs ?

There are perfectly good local vendors. You can have spores legally for microscopy purposes, but why risk it.

Thanks for the reply.

I was told the “quality” of the ones here are much better than anywhere else.
Myth ?

Have you tried contacting Scotts Shipping Services?
Such powerful magic, your money simply disappears. POOF!

But you leaving with it and it’s legal in the country ?
I don’t think it’s legal. The term I’ve heard used is tolerable.
None the less I would not chance it myself. I’ve had multiple searches at the airport.

Wrt quality, probably more about contaminants in the substrate.

Ok thanks for all the replies.

Now who’s gonna DM me the local suppliers details ?

Schiphol airport is another level.. Custom officers will just at random pick some person out of the blue and start questioning them..

It really doesn't seem worth the risk.. just because it's legal(maybe) in the country, leaving the country with it can still be considered trafficking..

I got mine from sporespot, but I think they have closed. Payed R85 a syringe at the time.

you realise that the liquid culture or spore print is not a drug right? eat it and see...
unless your bag is packed with actual wet / dry magic mushrooms then everything else is not a drug so it's perfectly legal.

and it is perfectly legal in SA to purchase the liquid culture just not the actual mushroom

anyway, our spores we have for sale here in SA are absolutely great and are sourced worldwide then grown in SA so what's the point?

As soon as you inoculate plates and the culture starts proliferating it's illegal. Spores can be collected for microscopy purposes only.
