Oke so do not flame me. I’m new to this.

I want to know how (l)users are doing the following and how I can stop them.

You have a private BB and you set up your company mail on the phone. How? How to stop them.

We have an Exchange server.
We have a BB server.

Company exchange is accesible from outside using:
Pop3
Imap
or a Outlook-web-access page

If you wanna PM the email domain I can prod quickly and check what I find

*Edit - These 3 methods use BIS,I assume they aren't using BES as that is maintained by the company itself not for private phones

As for solutions,it depends which of those methods it's using,Option1 and 2 you can add the Blackberry BIS server IP range to a deny list in exchange,Option3 you'd block at IIS level

Jip. BES server.

When they send mail from it our mail system picks it up as spoofed mail.

BIS or BES users show as spoofed?
Likely your SPF/Domainkeys doesn't have the Blackberry IPs listed as allowed

The people on Private contracts that tries to send internal mail is spoofed.
OUr company has a BES server where your company phone is added.

Private cellphones are not allowed to have company mail on it.

Sounds like it's working as intended then :P

As I said, either block BIS access or add BIS IPs to the SPF/Domainkeys to not show as spoofed

oke so let me start again. I'm stupid with explaining things.

Company has a BES Server.
If you have a company cell you are added to this and you will receive your internal mail wich you are allowed to have.

I now have a issue with people that is not on company cell phones setting up their mail on the private phones.
The only way I picked up on this is the spoofed mail.

How do I stop you from setting up your company mail on your private phone.

You have now said the same thing 3 times :)

Mila dearest,Question
Do you a) want to remove the spoofed mail issue so it doesn't show spoofed or b) block private blackberry access to your mail servers

Solution a) add BIS IPs to the SPF/Domainkeys to not show as spoofed
b)block BIS access

How to check?
This differs by Exchange version,Exchange 2003 would show a list under each protocol showing what IP and user are connected to IMAP/POP3

Don't let the BES administrator add people with private phones to the server.
