WhatsApp is working on a number of exciting new features that are expected to roll out in the near future.

Not at all excited about integration with Facebook Messenger... I deleted my Facebook account for good reason, to get away from Facebook. It's a pity that Whatsapp stays so "popular" as it lags way behind Telegram in terms of innovation and features, and both Telegram and Signal have long since offered proper multi-device support without needing the phone.

The closer they get to integration, the sooner I will rid myself of WhatsApp. My privacy, what little is left of it, is important.

The vanishing messages is cool. Wonder if they will stop screen recording/screenshots for this type of media too?

FB/Insta Chats integration - not a fan.

Vacation mode: Meh. Give me the ability to completely mute a group permanently and not their 3 current options (or otherwise give a custom option where a time frame can be set)

In Telegram admins in channels can post as "admin" not their actual account. So no one knows who you are!
