Major changes coming to Skype

Skype has announced a number of major changes for its desktop and mobile applications, overhauling the platform's messaging features.

The company has unveiled new messaging features which include the ability to display multiple photos and videos, preview media files, and save draft messages.

If Skype wants to become popular it needs to copy every single feature of Telegram and include Snapchat and Instagram features too. Then maybe it will get lucky with the right marketing.

But that is very unlikely, especially with a world-class user experience. I'd be happy if they did though - any cloud-based messaging solution would be an improvement over WhatsApp. For now I'm just glad to have all my closest friends and family on Telegram.
