Hi Everyone,
I am hoping this is the right place to ask for help.
I have a D-Link Wireless router:
Model: DI-624
H/W Ver: D2G
F/W Ver: 4.01
Now I have the problem that it randomly freezes up when it feels like it. It stops working and all its lights on the front panel come on solid. I have searched around google and I see a lot of people have the problem but I have not really seen a good solution.
I tried contacting D-LINK South Africa for support and they are useless. They never responded. The local South African D-Link site does not have any firmware for my device.
I have looked at the US site, which has firmware for a number of DI-624 Revisions, yet none of them match mine which is the D2G.
I am getting tempted to throw this thing out the window. I dont have the money right now to buy a replacement router, so I am wondering if anyone might me able to suggest a way of "fixing" this one just at least so it does not freeze up all the time.
Thanks in Advance,
Steed.
