Spaghetti + butter + Ketchup. If it's good enough for Honey Boo Boo, it's good enough for you child.

While browning the mince pour in some worcheshire sauce, it will soak into the mince.

Half glass of red wine just before letting it simmer could work too.

If you aren't Muslim, brown some pancetta/bacon in the pan before browning the mince. You can use tinned tomatoes, but chop fresh onions. Also, it's an Italian dish, where on earth is the garlic? A bay leaf wouldn't hurt either, and is easy to fish out when done.

Use basil leaves to garnish, they go really well with the tomato sauce. Don't forget to salt the water when cooking the pasta.

Right... Buy some Chorizo and bacon. Get a can or two of diced tomato and get a small can of tomato paste as well. Get some onion, garlic, cream and parmesan cheese.

Put the Chorizo and bacon through a blender to mince it.
Slice or dice the onion and fry it off with the garlic.
Add the "mince", season to taste.
Once the mince is brown, stir in the tomato paste and diced tomato.
Add a generous splash of cream.
Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally.

Make sure your pasta is cooked and rinse in a colander under cold water.

Serve with a little parmesan, black pepper and salt on stand by for your guest.

PS. The pizza herb was probably oregano. ;)

EDIT: Some do and some don't but you might try add a small spoon of sugar to neutralise some of the tomato's acidity.

As soon as the water is out the spaghetti add a raw egg to it and stir.

He used fresh stuff - leaves n stuff - pretty sure it had basil -

Oregano, use fresh basil at the end.

You should check out DJ's recipe. The main difference is that he cooks the meat separately and then adds it right at the end.

Brown onions, add tomato, herbs and chutney or what ever sauce you want, cook it till its awesome then chuck in the cooked mince and serve.

Maybe not a good idea for a first time , but there is no substitute for pasta made from scratch, and fresh herbs.
