Hi folks,

So, I'll keep this short, I want to design a site that displays sport scores - live! There's, however, one teeny weeny winy issue, and that's that I need a decent source for the scores (in particular Golf) and then I need to find a way to link the source to the site.
Any ideas? I'm hoping to use WP.

Thanks in advance!

To do it legally I have a feeling that you would need to pay for the source.

I think you're going to need to do a bit of emailing around. eg. If you want the scores for the PGA then check their website, usually in the footer else email them and ask how you can get hold of it.

You could use http://import.io/ to scrape the scores from the web.
Once you have set up the structure in import.io to extract the data, they will expose a webapi for you to call anytime to pull the data remotely.
