I've found the daily's are a good way to make a bit of steady cash, especially if you've got a few toons who have the necessary pre-quests - getting those initial 5 man Ogri'la quests done can be a serious pain in the ass though.
Other than that, depending on your server, farming mining / herbs / skinning / rep items like signets, arcane tomes & the like are also a good way to make money.
Just finishing up the left over quests can prove surprisingly profitable - I made about 300g on my rogue in about 3 hours in Netherstorm earlier today, just doing the solo quests at up to 20g a pop
