Just out of curiousity, what would you all need to make and sell porn in SA? :D This is genuinely pure curiousity, as I was discussing with a friend ways of making money and wondered if it was even an option to many people :D

I'm assuming you'd need some kind of license? Would it be breaking any laws? Would it have to be BEE complient? :D

You're the same person who wanted to be a teacher :wtf:

/tries to remember the number for the police.

aha, my first actor :D see? told you this would be a good thread.
i'm not into porn myself, but i find porn blooper reels to be quite fun and often hilarious, so i wonder what kind of environment it must be

I don't understand how prostitution is illegal but making porn is legal in SA. In both you're paying someone to have sex.
How does the law work here?

she can't, she's not allowed to leave the kitchen :p

I thought about this as well at one point. And then sell the dvd's at the robots, because people are more likely to buy them as it is "discreet"
However, I am not sure there is the kind of demand for it that there used to be. The internet and free porn streaming sites have kind of halted things

Good point, but it really just shows how stupid prostitution laws are.

No idea how the laws work.

Well, a local site may be a good idea then. Aren't there laws against hosting porn locally on the way?

Thought about this as well (and know someone with a substantially large XSAN environment for hosting), but uncapped has ruined that. It might load faster, but i dont think its enough of a difference to warrant setting it up

Should be OK as long as everyone is above 18. Seriously though...I reckon there are a million other jobs that earn better & involve less mopping up teh nasty. Besides, any business idea that involves competing against similar sources (internet streaming) that charge zilch sucks.

You might also need approval by that board of clowns that goes bu Film & pub board. Or maybe that was only imports?

Well, I'm figuring, if you're going to be boinking anyway, why not record it?

Loving the traffic light selling part. :p. That actually WOULD work.

There's already a thriving porn industry in SA . Hell we even have our very own reality porn star show set to be broadcast soon
