Forum for Black Journalist's (FBJ) chairperson Abbey Makoe's claims are "mischievous" and "untruthful", the SA Human Rights Commission said on Wednesday.

This is a contentious issue and one that opens a lot of interpretations. South Africa is a fledling democracy hatched from a segegrated past.
Whilst I think institutions based on race is great as it instils a sense of belonging and pride. I believe, we're too young and too far diversified, as a democracy to understand (or accept) this just yet.
Point in case: The finding recommended the FBJ reconsider it's policy (note it didn't insist that it change it's policy) and didn't impose a fine. This just opens up a can of worms; White only, Asian only and Indian only with the justication of only having to point to this specific finding.
