Makro Battery special

From what I know Lead calcium batteries are not great for solar systems they dont like being deeply discharged and they dont like being left in a state of partial discharge. A proper deep cycle will be better although these will work if you look after them and keep them properly charged.

These are not decent deep cycle batteries. Just look at the warranty on the front of the battery.

Your warranty will be broken if they:
- 'Cycle' more than 50%
- Discharge more than 80% ever
- Cycle more than 250 times
I don't quite know how these can be described as Deep Cycle... they are about as deep as a puddle!

Puddles on JHB roads can often be very deep thanks to the JRA's pothole fixing regime
