Post Office on the verge of collapse

The South African Post Office’s business rescue practitioners (BRPs) want to liquidate the state-owned company.

They communicated the plan in a letter to the Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Solly Malatsi, on 13 March 2026.

Actually there's still about 10 000 people employed by the Post Office doing goodness knows what all day. That's the only reason they haven't shut it down yet because of the huge political stink it will cause with the unions.
