Malaysia airlines plane crashes into sea off Vietnam
Now looking at four suspicious persons.
"KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysia intelligence agencies are investigating how up to four passengers with suspect identities were able to board the missing Boeing 777 jet, the government said, as planes and ships from across Asia resumed the hunt Sunday for the plane."

Generally if a plane crashes into the sea people usually don't come out alive, so yes - it's safe to assume there are no survivors.

In addtion to the fact that the area where they crashed is quite shallow.
There wasn't even a mayday so I'm guessing one big explosion took everyone out.
There's only debris and very few bodies will be found.

There were no explosions picked up by the US satellites that monitor the globe for light flashes

Seems either a calamitous failure in flight so sudden that mayday was impossible. Or, human agency prevented mayday and probably also implicated in loss of the flight

The tickets were bought from China Southern Airlines in Thai baht at identical prices, according to China's official e-ticket verification system Travelsky. The ticket numbers are contiguous, which indicates the tickets were issued together"

INTERPOL: DATABASE NOT CHECKED PRE-MALAYSIA FLIGHT

Interpol said Sunday that no country checked the police agency's database that held information about two stolen passports used to board an ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight.
"Whilst it is too soon to speculate about any connection between these stolen passports and the missing plane, it is clearly of great concern that any passenger was able to board an international flight using a stolen passport listed in Interpol's databases," Interpol Secretary General Ronald K. Noble said in a statement.
Even though the Interpol has been sounding the alarm about passport fraud for years, people have managed to board flights a billion times without having their passports checked against its stolen-documents records, Interpol said.
In a sharply worded criticism of shortcomings of national passport controls, the Lyon, France-based agency also said it was examining other suspect passports and working to determine the true identities of the passengers who used the stolen passports to board the Boeing 777 that disappeared Saturday - less than an hour after taking off from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for Beijing.
Information about the thefts of an Austrian passport in 2012 and an Italian passport last year was entered into Interpol's database after they were stolen in Thailand, but that no checks of the stolen passports were made "by any country" before the flight Saturday, the police body said. "Unfortunately," it added, few member countries systematically search its databases to see whether stolen travel documents or passports were being used by passengers.
In an interview with The Associated Press in January 2010, Noble had warned that "the greatest threat in the world" was that at the time, a half-billion international air arrivals worldwide took place in which travel documents were not compared against Interpol databases. Some countries have woken up to the threat more than others: In 2006, U.S. authorities scanned the database about 2,000 times - but did so 78 million times just three years later.
For years, Interpol has asked why countries would "wait for a tragedy to put prudent security measures in place at borders and boarding gates," Noble said Sunday. "Now, we have a real case where the world is speculating whether the stolen passport holders were terrorists, while Interpol is asking why only a handful of countries worldwide are taking care to make sure that persons possessing stolen passports are not boarding international flights."
Noble said he hoped "that governments and airlines worldwide will learn from the tragedy of missing flight MH 370 and begin to screen all passengers' passports prior to allowing them to board flights."

BACKGROUND: SEARCH FOR MISSING MALAYSIAN JET INVOLVES 8 COUNTRIES
The search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which went missing on Saturday with 239 people on board, has brought together nearly 100 vessels and aircraft from eight countries in Asia and the Pacific. The assistance poured in after Malaysia sought help in locating the Boeing 777-200 that disappeared on Saturday en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Kuala Lumpur has deployed 18 aircraft and 27 ships to lead the search and rescue mission in seas between Malaysia and Vietnam, where the jet last made contact. The countries that are helping in the search are: Vietnam - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Vietnam has dispatched two planes and seven ships to help with the search. The National Committee for Search and Rescue said another five planes and four ships are on standby for search activities. China - China has deployed four search and rescue vessels and two warships to help in the mission. One of the warships, an amphibious landing vessel, has two helicopters on board, a 14-member medical team and a rescue team of 10 divers. More than 150 of the passengers on the missing plane were Chinese nationals. Singapore -Singapore has sent two warships, a submarine support and rescue vessel, a Sikorsky naval helicopter and a C-130 aircraft to help in the search and rescue mission. The submarine has divers on board that could help search for clues underwater, the Ministry of Defence said. Thailand - The Thai Navy has dispatched a Super Lynx helicopter and a patrol ship to the Andaman Sea, west of Thailand, to help in the search. It has also put two other ships on standby in the Gulf of Thailand, awaiting a request for assistance from Malaysia. Australia - Australia has dispatched two AP-3C Orion long-range aircraft to boost the search in the South China Sea. Six Australians were among the missing plane's passengers. Philippines - The Philippines has dispatched a Fokker F-27 and an Islander plane and two patrol ships. It has also placed on alert a Hamilton-class cutter vessel and a C-130 plane to join in the mission if needed. Indonesia - Indonesia dispatched a corvette, four rapid patrol vessels and a maritime surveillance plane to join the search for the missing jetliner after Malaysia requested assistance to scour the waters around Penang island in the Malacca Strait. United States - The US Navy has dispatched two ships, the USS Pinckney and the USNS John Ericsson, and a P-3C Orion aircraft from the Kadena Air base in Okinawa, Japan. Thing is, who commits a terror attack without people wanting to know it is a terrorist attack, generally when terrorist do things like this they want it to be to known.
Or as retarded as this may sound and I feel like an idiot to probably say this, but maybe it got struck by a meteor of some kind, but chances of something like that are very unlikely, and that would have to be such a fluke if something like that had happened, and I am pretty sure there would be some kind of debris and the evidence they have so far wouldn't doesn't maybe point to something like that, but nonetheless a very interesting story to follow.

I suspect what ever happened to this plane happened suddenly and it was not expected by the pilots considering there was no distress call. Maybe the fuselage lost it structural integrity and the plane broke up in flight. In that scenario you would expect to find debris over a wide area however. I hope it is not another pilot suicide like the Egyptair or Mozambique airline incidents.
