Malaysia sets a gaming curfew

This is just sad. Do these people not get enough loving.... Maybe they should start drinking a bit more because for a country to have to create a law because its populus is so addicted to gaming is crazy. Maybe they should just legalise drugs, prositution and drop the drinking age. That will solve their gaming problems.

"The authorities in Subang Jaya, near the capital Kuala Lumpur, say that from next year they will close down net cafes which allow patrons to play games late at night.
Politicians decided to take the action after being approached by a worried mother whose son had gone missing.
The teenager was found in a cyber cafe where he had been playing for 48 hours.
Under rules due to come in next year, cyber cafes will have to set up different areas for gamers and for other internet users.
Gaming areas will need a separate entertainment licence and will be required to close at midnight, even at weekends.
Local lawmakers say they plan to deploy teams of officers to check on popular internet spots.
Those found playing games after midnight will be told to leave, while cafe owners who ignore the rules face having their licences withdrawn."

I think a time limit per age would have been more in order for this.
If you're under 18 you have to leave by 10pm , over 18 stay out as late as you want ..... silly tho ....

They kind of need it, how many people have actually died from internet games over there? It's probably a bigger killer than alot of stuff in Malaysia, more chance of dying playing computer than lightning or something stupid.
Yah it's not actually that bad, but why don't people just play online at home... then noone can stop them. But maby they shouldn't be playing for so long anyway, stupid east asians... never liked them

Close down net cafe's where ppl play games and just games. Maybe consume a bit too much coke and smokes but that's bout it.

Nevermind that ppl are in bars after midnight. and drinking and getting totally sloshed which leads to more cases of drunken driving, assault and so many other social evils.

Nope we gotta make sure those damn kids don't play games to long.
