Malema says sorry

ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema has apologised for creating the impression that he was inciting violence with his "kill for Zuma" statements, a spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday.

"People are uncomfortable with the way in which we have spoken before and we are indeed very, very sorry for that," said ANCYL spokesperson Floyd Shivambu, a day after the national executive committee of the ANC met and discussed, among other things, Malema's controversial statements.

Shivambu confirmed that Malema's apology, in an interview on Talk Radio 702 on Monday afternoon, was in the context of his "kill for Zuma" statements.

"If we did sound like we're inciting violence, we are very sorry," Malema said.

"That was not our intention; we'll never incite violence. We will never do anything unconstitutional. We are law-abiding citizens of this country and we will protect the Constitution of this republic.

I will sleep much better tonight.

Did he have to confirm it as they were to scared that malema would stuff it up?

@ Frankie - Malema was on 702 yesterday afternoon, I heard the interview. He actually sounds like a lot less of a thickie than I was expecting.

um, I think there are several loose wires in this okes kop somewhere... cos what is going on in his brain does not always connect with his mouth. seems to be a common problem with this politician models.

He spoke on Radio 702, is that not public enough?

OK.

I just thought someone was doing it on his behalf again.

' We ' are very sorry, not ' I ' am very sorry ?

Who is we ?

And if the truth be told what Malema means is

We are very sorry that you stupid colonialists and counter-revolutionaries are so stupid, and very sorry that because you are so stupid you are leaving the ANC in droves and going to parties with stupider people than me but what we are really sorry about above anything else is that we have to say we are sorry.

Too little too late?

I'm not going to like him and i would never vote ANC as long as he is associated with them.

Breaking news

His spokes person also confirmed him (Malema) being gay and very well in love with a white 16yo from the suburbs

:D

This Malema guy is as stupid as they come. Shame, we should pray Darwin takes effect sooner rather than later :o

How the hell can we believe you,
how the hell can we believe you,
how the hell can we believe you,
you lie, you bugger, you lie

Zoom Zoom must've threatned him with no pocket money!

As one Malema steps back, another takes his place.

More votes for C.O.P.E thanks.

ANC Youth League leaders have condemned members of the Congress of the People (COPE) as cockroaches that must be killed, hot on the heels of a public apology by its president Julius Malema for his hate speech.

In damning footage being aired worldwide by international news channel Al Jazeera, Jason Mkhwane, the chairperson of the league branch in Sedibeng, southern Gauteng, is heard saying: "People like Terror Lekota and all those people who want to destroy the history of the organisation (ANC), they behave like cockroaches and they must be destroyed".

When probed by what was meant by the word "destroyed", Mkhwane's comrade and Sedibeng ANCYL branch secretary Themba Ndaba told the camera: "We must kill them."

And if the truth be told what Malema means is:

We are very sorry that you stupid colonialists and counter-revolutionaries are so stupid, and very sorry that because you are so stupid you are leaving the ANC in droves and going to parties with stupider people than me but what we are really sorry about above anything else is that we have to say we are sorry.

That was what he was going to say, but then they got one of his comrades (one of those who finished primary school) to rewrite it for him :p

Themba Ndaba told the camera: "We must kill them.

And he was so busy with Malema's nonsense he missed this bloke.
