Malware Protection

Will be good enough to block websites and download but won’t do squat if someone sent you something dodgy via WhatsApp.

Not concerned about WhatsApp, using common sense is probably good enough.

That was an example, just meant that it will only help with network requests, nothing directly sent to the device via email, sms, IM, zero day exploit of the AirDrop, etc.

So what would you recommend?
if your a FNB client, you get this for free 3 licenses for phones and PC's

Thank, I will give it a shot.

personally never used anything, not something I’m concerned about, you seemed to be so I’m just making sure you know the limitations of what you’ve chosen.

I also use AdGuard, but network deployed instead of on device, easier to protect all devices, and I never deployed it for malware, I deployed it for privacy.

I love trend micro, the only AV that waves at the viruses when they go past. I used to download virus source code with that installed.

so its rubbish? so what do you suggest, especially if its a WA/SMS scam.

I work in IT, I click on all of those to screw with them.
Myself and my entire team have “failed” every pen test we’ve ever been sent, cause intentionally clicking on the link to **** with them isn’t considered a “pass”
