From what I have heard the attacks on SA Muslims are by Muslims from other countries. I think they are offended that our Muslims are so chilled and non-extremist and they figure by bringing murder and pain it will create a situation where local Muslims pick a side and some come over to their particular cause or something. Of course it could result in a massive backlash from SA Muslims adding to opposition to their group. Hope the latter is how it plays out.

Either way, be safe my Muslim countrymen! I hope you are able to worship safely.

Thank you for the well wishes my man,this has actually got to me,it was very close to home for me personally,some family members/friends of mine pray at that mosque.

The fact that people close to me could have come to harm because of somebodies evil agenda has shook me.

There is no link.... a family member was present when the whole thing happened,he expressly asked me not to share the pictures or too much information so I will respect his wishes.
