I've noticed that the skin on my face is not looking as supple and radiant as it once did :D

Seriously though, I've realised that I need to start taking better care of my skin or I'll look haggard and worn by the time I'm middle aged.

Any of you guys (or even gals) using a facial moisturiser that you can recommend?
Or is there anything I should look out for when trying to find one myself in that enormous section in Dischem?

I don't want something with fragrance, and also don't want anything too oily.

Speak to one of the pretty girls in that section of Dischem. That's what they're there for.

Look at the Nivea mens range. No, not the big tub of cream, they have specific facial moisturisers.

There is one that me and my family use and it is not too badly priced. Xeroderm. It comes in a grey tube, 150ml and costs about R95. It also has a sunscreen built in (SPF40).

I am going to get a hard time for this, But I have started using baby lotion the Johnson and Johnson brand. That this is expensive but it works wonders, one thing I like about it is that it doesn't leave residual especially when you have a bit of a stumble.

I'll give it a try, but I've found that Dischem staff often don't know much (literally reading the label in front of me to try get more info).
The promo girls (i.e. pretty ones) don't know more than their own product lines.

I tried this before posting here. Complete choice paralysis - there's just too much variety.

Just did a quick Google - all I can find is actual sunscreen

I use the Avon Men's range personally.

Look at what you wife/partner uses. Use the same products. No need to buy "men" specific moisturiser and skin creams.

I buy the Nivea cream that comes in a flat metal tub, almost like shoe polish.

It's the most basic slightly fancier than aqueous cream that isn't too expensive and does the job.

Once you start looking at that "Anti Aging for Men" *** you'll bankrupt yourself.

This one.

There is an Even Tone version as well...but bugger me if I know what the difference is.

If you want guaranteed results use Clarins it's expensive but it works.
