Man survives lion attack

Johannesburg - A lion attacked a visitor in his car in Lion Park in Lanseria, northwest of Johannesburg, on Friday, paramedics said.

The 28-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to his arm and was in a stable condition in hospital, ER24 spokesperson Andre Visser said.

"He and his wife were at the park for their anniversary when the animal grabbed a hold of his car seat and proceeded to claw her way into the vehicle," said Visser.

"The lioness bit the man on his right forearm before he managed to wrestle her out of the vehicle."

His car window was open at the time.

The wife was not hurt.

The only reason I say it's good that he survived is because the lion would have been put down if he hadn't.

It's the 3rd or 4th time someone has been attacked at this Lion Park one was even the manager that was killed - if I am not mistaken and I think the management needs to put measures in place to prevent this from happening to TOTAL AHOLES in order to protect the lions.
