Manage My Broadband Connection

Hey Guys,

Hopefully someone can help me out. I'm looking for a piece of software that will allow me to manage my ADSL usage over my network at home. We have a connection that the family uses and a number of PC's throughout the house. What I want to do is split our cap between each person.

Ideally something that requires a username and password to connect to the internet for each user and limits their usage to x amount per month.

Any advice will be appreciated

Enable PPPOE relay or bridging (same thing) on your router and make sure each pc "dials" up its own ADSL acc - R70/1GB from Axxess - Available from any Engen garage should work well for this purpose.

Otherwise try something like Netlimiter

Have a look at allegrosurf. Not free, but works well with one being able to set up quotas per user.
