I know this can be done easiely using that little routing progi that is so often mentioned. But I just had a look at my router's (Marconi 4 port from Telkom) manual and it seem to me as if it should be posable to route traffic through 2 different accounts. But I don't understand excactly how it work, so have anybody done this before? Any ideas?
I thaught to start with I want to try and use the Telkom test account with my IS account and route all Telkom traffic through the Telkom account and the rest through the IS account. Just as a test and to figure out how it works, if it is in fact posable and mostly out of pure curiousity. [
Man, wish they had a spell checker for the forum]
From what I can figure out one can assign each acount to a diferent PVC, say PVC0 for IS and PVC1 for Telkom.
Then one must go to the route table and get it to route trafic to 198.54.202.4 (telkom) via PVC1. That seem simple enough, but how would one make sure that ALL other trafic go via IS i.e. PVC0. By changing the System Default Gateway from auto to PVC0. Will that do the trick.
Later I want to route my IS and webafrica accounts in the same way, that is if this work. But I first want to make sure that I know excactly what I'm doing. I don't want the thing to gobble up all my webafrica GB's.
Any sugested reading from the Net also welcome.
Thanks you guys
