Hi guys,
So seems I might need to start investing some time in learning the hows and why's around this and wanted some assistance.
I know nothing of this space and wanted some guidance on where to begin. Figured something out when I was running SQL infrastructure but this is a new world.
Problem Statement : Managing 40+ Windows 7 machines, should be able to deploy and run various .bat files and run them on command, deploy file/registry updates etc.
Now I've been reading up on Chef and Puppet and think they might be the right tools? Curious though if there is something else I should read about as the ones I've mentioned and all related tutorials are around Linux.
