Manchester United player arrested for rape

A police source said: "Many of the women were there to bag a wealthy football star, and while we have to take any allegation of rape extremely seriously we will be closely examining the woman's background and who she associates with."

Exactly. You know how often this kind of thing happens. Rich, famous footballer accused of rape. Please. I would take it with a large pinch of salt.

Apparently the party really was raucous though. But that is a long way from rape.

The accusation made towards Zuma should have been taken in the same way...

Spoiled, rich, young fooballers + Loose, cheap, young skanks =

Tabloid fodder( and probably a few stds )

Rape is imo one of the worst crimes that you can commit. I think that anyone who blatantly falsely accuses someone of such a heinous crime should face the same punishment that the accused could have faced. There is nothing worse than false accusations in my book.

I don't think that was the same thing at all.

It depend on the facts does it?... They seem very much the same , a woman making an accusation, a guy who has some bugs... Not one of them denying having sex with the girl... well let the police decide...

Or where am I going wrong... not mentioning the free for all bit?

The Robbie Fowlers sniffing chalk dust?....:p
Yes we all know how this new generation evolved and will keep evolving...

I still need to check the facts of this case before I can comment further. The Zuma case I am familiar with.
