Hi all,

So my brother is considering doing a Supply Chain Management Degree from MANCOSA.
Does anyone have any experience with this institution? Is it worth it or is it better taking a gap year and applying for a BCOM from UJ/UNISA?
Is there anyone here that has done a degree with them? And if so how did the subsequent job hunting go?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rather wait for to do it at uj or unisa. Alot of companies wouldn't employ people with a degree from these private colleges. I know people who studied with colleges like this and haven't been able to get a job anywhere close to their field of study. It isn't to say he wouldn't get a job if he studied here, he is just better off going for a well recognised University. Also not sure if places like mancosa are recognised internationally.

I have studied here and currently doing my honours at UNISA.

A little a bit of inside info, MANCOSA has a Careers centre where they help students get employed. Some of the big companies like Bidvest and Boxer stores actively send request for CV's, especially supply chain students.

In terms of student support, not the best but it's not as horrible as UNISA's ( I still haven't received a response to a query from last year).
