I have a flight booked with mango for Thursday, my friend booked it for me and she's sent me a copy of her ID and cc, but she said she needed a copy of mine so last night I copied it at home and came back to Pretoria today, but stupidly I left my ID in the printer and my birth certificate is at home too. My parents live 2 hours away so I can't really just pop in and get it and I don't know anyone who travels to Pretoria regularly from home. I do have a printed copy of my ID as well as an original valid learners license and student card with me but I don't know if mango accepts any of these. I've read that they only ask for the ID of the person who made the booking with their credit card but I'm not sure how true that is and I don't want to get to the airport without my own identification and be told I can't check in.
Does anyone have any ideas/advice?

Call Mango and ask. Explain. Pre-arrange.

Info taken from their website:
Proof of Identification

At check-in it is required that all Guests provide proof of identification in order to receive their boarding pass. Guests may use their valid ID, driver’s licence or passport as proof of identification. Guests who booked and paid for their flights using a credit card will need to present this card at check-in. If the Guest paid for a group or family using the credit card, only the paying Guest need present the card. In the case of children a birth certificate is considered as valid identification

You'll still need identification to board - they check at the gate - but your drivers license should suffice.

use drivers license. you might need copy of original CC used to pay the ticket as well

You will need to present the credit card that was used to get the ticket.
Did the friend buy the ticket in your name? You cannot travel on a ticket purchased in another persons name.
If you learners licence has a photo the original should be good enough but verify that first.

I don't think they will accept a learners licence though?

But as mentioned, call and find out. It would be quicker to drive that 2 hours out to pick up your ID then get to the airport with little time to spare and be turned away without the valid identification.

^^this ! Drivers licence accepted, I think learners licence specifically excluded. And a copy of purchasing credit card and probably a copy of the purchasers ID.
