Mantashe blasts Shell and BP for shutting down Sapref

Uncle Gweezy you retard.

There is sweet fsck all you can do to stop Shell/BP shutting down SAPREF, you and your comrades fscked that golden goose yourselves.

Its gonna be funny as fsck when the come up with all sorts of plans etc to try and stop it, and Shell/BP shrug their shoulders and do it anyway.

If this is what he is like over Shell and BP, I fear his reaction to KFC shutting down.

ANC tells companies that they are too white and must hire loyal ANC cadres in their management.
ANC tells companies that white people owning shares in their company is evil, so must hand over shares to loyal ANC cadres.
ANC tells companies that they are the cause of all the problems in society by wanting to make a profit, therefore the ANC is entitled to a large portion of it.
ANC tells companies that they will take their property without compensation if the ANC deems it fit.
ANC tells companies that hiring workers is the greatest sin known to mankind and therefore they have no rights whatsoever in labour negotiations.
ANC tells companies that they are not allowed to generate their own electricity, even when the ANC is unable to provide it.
ANC tells companies that they are not allowed to own their own water, even when the ANC is unable to provide it.
ANC tell petroleum companies the price their products must be sold for, even when it is grossly unprofitable.
...

Then the ANC is shocked when companies don't want to be on the People's Republik of South Africa.

You lie like the ANC

Nandos speeds up the metabolism. This guy is definately living on a diet of grease and fat.

Depends on what you have a Nandos... Gweezy doesn't strike me as a Hot/Extra Hot type of guy, more a Lemon & Herb

Lets see, lots and lots of red tape, non business centric attitudes and of course government wants to tell private companies who and how they hire people.
Yeah. Spot on. Seems like CR investment plans are going well. Mara Cell phone factory down the drain. Don't know what else.

Was Shell not stopped by court order to stop seismic studies off the Wild Coast in their attempt to find oil/gas reserves?

This fool is so out of touch with reality.
He has no forward thinking capability.
Instead of bemoaning the reduction of petroleum etc production, how about opening up the industry to renewables, cut red tape and stupid restrictions.
Provide an environment that attracts international and local expertise and become the go to world wide destination for power and fuel technologies. Create tens of, if not hundreds of thousands of jobs. We have ALL the resources needed.
Alas no, lets stick to coal and completely unsustainable resources, not to mention the environmental disaster continually perpetuated by mining/coal burning etc.
We done Uncle Gwede, well done, you're definitely up there in the running's for the "most useless" Minister award.

Shame even the fossil fuel companies know we have to move to renewable energy and electric vehicles... SA can't live in a bubble on it's own. IT won't happen overnight, but oil has peaked and companies are looking to what's next.

The greed and arrogance of the corrupt ANC members and cadres know no bounds. How about ensuring a constant supply of electricity and possibly companies will make further investments.

That's not what Shell and BP are planning. They will be importing fuels from other refineries and selling them to consumers.
