but why is it still slow?

isn't it like, much less users on the same bandwidth now?

[:(!][:(!]

yeh... or less bandwidth? maybe they thought... "hmmm... less users. we don't need all this bandwidth - cut it in half!"

Bwhaha, the other day one of the orcs told me "but its contended" and I was like, "oh really, want to know something interesting? Sentech HAS 3200 subscribers, 60% cancelled, so in theory, if you were right and it was contended/shared... then why in the hell am I not seeing any speed improvement?"

He was dumbstruck...

iBurst is like wireless ADSL, only it's cheaper and twice as fast... that'll work for me. Means I don't have to go through Telkom, and I get the same type of package... for cheaper.

I just hope these guys can keep their **** together and not follow the same route as Sentech..

*prays*

Right now, I wouldn't touch iBurst with a 10 foot pole after this Sentech fiasco.
Maybe in 12 months time, when the market has settled a bit, a relook at wireless could be an option - I'd rather wait 6 months after the iBurst launch to see how they are doing.

With ADSL, I can cancel anytime and at least I know what I'm getting.
