Using CCleaner's 'find duplicate files' function, I was surprised that so may identical files were found on my laptop. Some of them were photos, where I had copied photos or docs to other folders, and I have deleted those duplicates, but the below example files seem to be system files.

Below is a just a small sample of the many duplicate files found. It is safe to delete the duplicates from my system?

I'm have an ASUS X54C laptop, running Win 8.1 in case the OS is relevant

No, I wouldn't recommend deleting the displayed files since they are the stored drivers for your machine.

The duplication occurs since there is drivers for both 64 bit and 32 bit systems and they are stored in different folders.

Thanks for that .. but why would I need 32-bit drivers on my 64-bit system? Or are both needed to run software?
