Marantz 1603 with Wharfedale Diamond Speakers

I have purchased the Wharfedale Diamond speakers. The 10.6, 10.1 and CS center and am trying to decide on an AVR to go with it.

I really like the Marantz NR 1603 but I am worried the 50w would not be enough to power the speakers.

Any thoughts?

Room size is 4m x 6m
Listening distance is 4 - 5m

Back wall is open plan into dining area and kitchen.

Be sure to check the impedance rating of the receiver too...

That AVR will drive the wharfedales quite well at reasonable levels.
